Hi, I'm Maria. Writing is my passion (ok, let's be real - ONE of them) and my therapy. This blog is a front row seat to my musings and experiences as an entrepreneurial mother of 5 who lives in the forest pondering deep thoughts and dreaming big dreams while trying to balance it all including maintaining my Spark.

I share all kinds of things about my life, my thoughts and my world as well as any gold nuggets that I’ve found helpful and useful along the way. My Spark is inspired by sharing stories with whimsical candor, sometimes off beat and unconventional, but almost always a bit playful, attempting the eternal quest to balance this soupy circus called Life.

My Sparklighter is about inspiration, encouragement and entertainment. But we shall see how things shift and morph as my process unfolds and my voice becomes more clear.

I have a strong desire to be of service. To assist in changing something for someone for the better. My Sparklighter feels like one more way that I might help do that.

I believe the Spark can be seen and felt everywhere if we have our act together enough in the moment to see it. And I believe seeing it, recognizing it and embracing it can change everything.

My hope is that when you read these pieces that you feel as if we are simply having a one on one conversation in my little cabin in the woods with a chilled tea in a comfy seat with the windows wide open and the forest sharing her sights, smells and secrets with us.
