Memories; The Movies We Play in Our Minds
This is what life is about…
Love
And making memories.
(Yes, there’s more, but then I wouldn’t have topics to write about later…)
They’re the only things we get to take with us when we check out.
We grow up being so excited about going to the waterslides at the Travel Lodge for the weekend…
We impatiently wait until we can say “it’s next month!” But soon it becomes “next week” and then “tomorrow” and before we know it, it becomes yesterday and then we bittersweetly bask in the memories we made there together. Maybe forever.
Maybe that’s how good those memories are. They are so good that they become core memories. (If you’ve never watched “Inside Out”, do it.)
Core memories, I think, are the ones that play in the last movie you watch in your mind.
I’m planning on mine being an epic.
