The Beauty of Boundaries

This morning I woke up thinking about boundaries. And specifically how me shoring up my personal boundaries has made me more present, loving, approachable and welcoming. Which seems like one of those contradictory situations. But it’s not.

I’m realizing that when my healthy boundaries are set and strong I take a tremendous amount of comfort in that. I also have faith and trust in my ability to uphold those boundaries. This allows me to relax and be myself without worrying about standing guard at my own watchtower.

I have trust that I will feel and know when it’s time to shift into that role, which means in the meantime I can simply focus on being myself; being present, of service, in a loving and receptive mindset etc.

This feels like quite a thing to be aware of.
